Congratulations on your engagement! What an exciting time in your life! Exciting but hectic right? I want to help make your big day a little less stressful. I will be with you from start to finish during your wedding planning, starting with a consultation so we can get to know each other as well as answer any questions you may have. The complementary engagement session will give us a chance to work together and get to know each other even better. About a month before the wedding we will get together one last time before your big day to go over your timeline and to make sure that things run smoothly and that everything is perfect for your special day.
I believe that having a physical memory of your wedding is so important because it is a part of your legacy. That’s why I now offer gorgeous Canadian made wedding albums from Dekora. Your wedding album will be a family heirloom to be treasured not only by you but by your children and future grandchildren.
When hiring me as your wedding photographer you can expect to receive a mixture of candid and posed images. I love catching the little moments where you’re not looking and are being truly authentic. If you like soft, natural, real, and authentic images, you’ve come to the right place.
Natasha & Stephan
On August 11th, 2018 I shot one of the most beautiful, intimate waterfront weddings for Natasha & Stephan. Their story started back in high school where they had mutual friends and attended the same party. It wasn’t until many years later that their love story began, thanks to Facebook. Tasha was online complaining about a cancelled flight to snowy Newfoundland. Out of the blue Steph messaged her to cancel that flight and book a flight down to Mexico instead. They have been together ever since!
Ashley & Brendan
This is a wedding that I was super excited to photograph! Ashley & Brendan chose St. Raphael’s Ruins as their location to tie the knot. For everyone that has been there, you know how amazing it is. Now just imagine getting married there! On Saturday, October 13th, 2018 Ashley & Brendan said their “I do’s.” Here’s their story in a few of my favourite images.
Sophie & Justin
Sophie and Justin met at work. One thing led to another and before you know it they were engaged! Their proposal goes something like this: Sophie had always loved the Lost Villages. One hot summer day they randomly stopped in and took a nice walk around the property. They stopped and sat at the stone fireplace where Justin started playing Sophie’s favourite song, “Kissed By A Rose” by Seal. They slow danced for the first time. After their dance, Justin pulled out a poem and read it to Sophie. Soon after he got down on one knee and proposed!
Complimentary Engagement Session
I know that the months leading up to your wedding day are really busy. Many people ask why do we need an engagement session done? It’s important for several reasons. It gives us a chance to work together and get to know each other before the wedding. It helps you to practice and relax in front of the camera before the big day. Your engagement session can also serve as a makeup and hair trial.
It’s complimentary with all of my wedding packages, so why not take advantage of it!
